Tigers Hold On For a 35-28 win over Dixie |

Union County led 35-14 in the third quarter then held off hard-charging Dixie County at the very end for the win. Deven Perry scored a touchdown on a 4-yard run to tie the score at 7-7 in the first quarter before a 33-yard scoring pass from quarterback Chris Alexander to Brodie Ellis gave Union County a 14-7 lead. Dixie County (3-6) running back Rodney Scott scored on a 2-yard run in the second quarter to again deadlock the game. Union County (5-3) then scored 21 straight points to gain the advantage. Justin Tyson scored on a 9-yard run and a 2-yard pass from Alexander and Najeeb Smith scored on a 7-yard run for the 35-14 lead. Scott scored on runs of 3 and 40 yards to settle the final margin. Smith rushed for 105 yards.
