Tigers Improve to 6-3 (2-2) on Season The Tigers (6-3, 2-2) celebrated senior night at Union County and senior Devin Perry ran for the Tigers’ first two scores to begin the rout. Union County also returned two kickoffs for touchdowns as sophomore Brian Holmes took the first 98 yards for a score in the second quarter and junior Najeeb Smith scored his second of three touchdowns when he returned his 50 yards for a score. Union County, now guaranteed a winning season, capitalized on three Chiefland fumbles to take a 34-0 lead. The Indians (4-5, 1-3) couldn’t contain the Tigers’ balanced attack as Union County rushed for 136 yards and passed for 194 yards in the District 4-2B win.
